CLOVER SCOOPS TWO PRESTIGIOUS 'PRODUCT OF THE YEAR' AWARDSPublished: 12 February 2013
The first was for Clover’s new UHT Prisma Pack long-life milk packaging. Designed with improved functionality in mind, the new packaging offers easier opening, pouring and resealing, making the packaging easier to handle and store than the previous pack. “At Clover, we consider our products from our customer’s point of view, which is why we decided to address the spillage that sometimes occurred with the previous Clover long-life milk packs,” explains Senior Brand Manager, Sherian King. “We conducted research in various countries around the world to evaluate the functionality of different packaging. The new packaging was deemed to be the best option for our long-life milk.” The second award was for Clover’s 800g Cheddar and Gouda cheese packs. “We created these products in response to consumer demand for bigger pack sizes and more value for money. They’re a great option for families,” comments King. “What makes these awards so significant is that they’re judged by consumers who buy and use our products,” says Senior Brand Manager, Sherian King. “This proves that we are meeting consumer demand for products that truly make their lives way better.” For over 25 years in over 30 countries the Product of the Year competition has provided manufacturers with the chance to be judged by consumers who are actually purchasing their products. Nielsen reaches out to 5 000 South African consumers from around the country making it the largest survey of its kind. Winning a Product of the Year Award is a true thumbs-up from consumers that manufacturers are indeed meeting their needs. |
