Mount Grace Country House and Spa, together with African Pride Hotels today announced the conclusion of their successful five-year partnership, effective 1 February 2013.

Having collaborated with African Pride Hotels since 2008, the hotel operator extrabold Hotel Management is confident that the time is right to position the hotel independently. extrabold will continue its successful relationship with Protea Hotels through extended franchise agreements in respect of six Protea Hotels branded properties. Managing Director, Xander Nijnens had this to say: "We are extremely grateful for the support we have received from the Protea Hospitality Group over the past five years as the largest and leading name in African hospitality. Their input has been invaluable."

At Mount Grace it will be business as usual, with operations continuing to run under the current management team of extrabold.

Of course the success of the hotel will depend on robust sales and marketing strategies and structures, and accordingly Mount Grace has recently expanded its sales and marketing team under the leadership of Chantelle Mogg. Newly appointed as Sales and Marketing Manager, Mogg and her team will continue to build on the already outstanding Mount Grace reputation as one of the leading luxury properties in South Africa. “With its exquisite position, 121 rooms, an award-winning spa, extensive conference facilities and five-star dining as well as an impeccable focus on service excellence, we truly believe that Mount Grace Country House & Spa is well deserving of its sterling reputation and we’re excited to be part of this new chapter for the hotel”, states Mogg.
